I’m in love with this 17th century manor house in France designed by Kate Hume. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of teals on an achromatic background. With touches of wood? Perfect.
The wooden beams in the ceiling add an air of magic to this space, don’t you think? I think they make this house especially unique. And add extra character. The way lighting has been integrated in this space is just phenomenal, giving them the opportunity to interact with the rest of the elements: Like an ongoing conversation between object and light.
Then at the end of it all, when you realize the setting of the house, you suddenly understand where the inspiration came from. ♥
