The photos above pretty much sum up the last of London. We were privileged to stay in a new part of London for a week—near the Tower Bridge. It started raining and getting chilly those days, so they were definitely not the best experience we had of London. It was also more of a business district, so most restaurants and cafés catered to the fast-paced lifestyle. I personally preferred West End—it was just much more relaxed and laid-back. Perhaps it had to do with the sunny weather we were fortunate to have had?
So it’s been a little over 2 weeks since I flew to Bergen. Since I haven’t had luck with work in Perth, we decided it was best for me to stay here for a while and work a little to save up. So far, I’ve been lucky to have had work every single week day(!) and I’ve been lucky to get another 2 weeks of work this week and next week. I haven’t really had a proper job in the past, and it really is a good feeling earning money!
And the weather here is still pretty warm. We get sun almost every day (although the weather’s a bit moody), and what I love about Bergen is its beautiful nature. I love how there’s always a nearby mountain to climb, and the one closest to us is Løvstakken …
• pavlova we had on the day I arrived in Bergen for my nephew’s birthday—yum! •
I will try my best to update my blog much more often! I hope you’re all well! ♥
